Gordon is responsible for the operational and financial performance of Skyline Retail REIT’s real estate portfolio, comprising millions of square feet of retail space across Canada.

Gordon joined Skyline with more than 25 years of experience in Canadian and international real estate markets. Prior to Skyline, Gordon served as the principal of GDREA Inc., which, with its predecessor organizations, was established in 2003 and provided real estate advisory services to investors in all asset classes, specializing in the retail real estate development sector. GDREA provided counsel on real estate investment, development management of complex mixed-use projects, market intelligence, and transactional support.

Gordon also held the role of Executive Vice President at First Capital Realty Inc. and led the firm’s Central Canada group, representing over ten million square feet of retail properties and comprising over $3B in assets. Gordon was also Vice President, Real Estate for premier retail real estate owners, including Bank of Montreal, Canadian Tire, and Sobeys.

Gordon currently serves as Commissioner on the Niagara Escarpment Commission and is also a member of many industry organizations, including Corenet, ICSC, and the Canadian Institute of Planners. Additionally, he is a former President of a Seniors’ Non-Profit Housing Corporation and a former board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph.

Gordon holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in the School of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo and a Masters of Corporate Real Estate from the Corenet Global organization.
