Julia is responsible for determining, managing, and overseeing all leasing functions for a designated portfolio of Skyline Retail REIT properties across Ontario.
Working directly with Skyline Retail REIT’s President and major stakeholders, Julia works to maximize overall occupancy and revenue within the property portfolio, in alignment with annual budgets. Her responsibilities include negotiating all renewals, new deals, and development opportunities. Through fostering broker and tenant relationships, Julia aims to maintain high occupancy rates within the portfolio and maintain the best tenant mix at each property.
Julia joined Skyline in 2021. Previously, she held the role of Leasing Manager at First Capital REIT, where she oversaw the leasing of more than 1 million square feet of retail space across the Greater Toronto Area and Ottawa. She was responsible for ensuring a cohesive tenant mix, maintaining high occupancy rates, and negotiating high renewal rates.
Having been a competitive sports player all her life, including at the University level, Julia credits many of her career accomplishments to exceptional teamwork. She believes that success naturally follows a team that works hard, collaborates, and supports one another.
Julia is a licensed salesperson with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) and holds a BA in Sociology from California State University, Bakersfield.
