Skyline Retail REIT Purchases Goodlife Fitness Portfolio

On Monday, December 1, 2014, Skyline Retail REIT purchased a 6-property portfolio comprised of Goodlife Fitness Centers across Ontario. In doing so, it entered six new Ontario communities, many of which are already home to Skyline Apartment REIT and Skyline Commercial REIT properties.

Here is a listing of those addresses:

  • 42 Commerce Park Drive, Barrie, ON
  • 9-11 Industrial Drive, Grimsby, ON
  • 2425 Barton Street East, Hamilton, ON
  • 555 Oak Street, North Bay, ON
  • 2655 Queensview Drive, Ottawa, ON
  • 589 Second Line East, Sault Ste. Marie, ON

The total purchase price for the portfolio was $28 million, and the portfolio boasts 151,332 square feet of commercial space.

The Skyline Retail REIT currently comprises 39 properties in 27 cities across Ontario, with an aggregate purchase price of approximately $259 million, and 1,132,634 square feet of commercial space.
