It has been a busy few weeks for the Skyline Retail REIT, as it has recently purchased two properties in two new Ontario communities.
On Monday, November 23rd, 2015, the Skyline Retail REIT purchased its first property in the town of Cobourg, ON. The property at 500 Division Street was purchased for $16.5 million and has 64,050 square feet of commercial space, with No Frills, Anytime Fitness, Pet Valu and Little Caesars included as tenants.
On Tuesday, December 1st, 2015, the Skyline Retail REIT purchased its first property in the town of Belle River, ON. The property at 322 & 330 Notre Dame Street was purchased for $8.75 million and has 23,356 square feet of commercial space. Its anchor tenant is Shoppers Drug Mart.
