On April 26th, 2018, the Skyline Retail REIT purchased a property of two buildings in Fergus, Ontario. This acquisition, valued at $12.1M, is Skyline’s first retail property in the township. The portfolio consists of approximately 84,000 square feet of retail space, with Giant Tiger, Dollarama, Pet Valu, Mark’s Work Wearhouse and Habitat For Humanity as anchor tenants.
In addition to 878-894 & 900 Tower St. South, Skyline Apartment REIT currently owns 3 residential properties with 429 suites in Fergus.
Post-acquisition, the Skyline Retail REIT comprises 86 properties in 54 communities across Ontario and Quebec.
