Skyline Retail REIT Acquires First Property in Guelph, ON

On August 27, 2018, the Skyline Retail REIT, a privately-owned and managed portfolio of retail properties across Canada, announced the acquisition of a property at 160 & 170 Kortright Road West, and 200 & 210 Kortright Road West, in Guelph, ON.

The property comprises 108,722 square feet of retail space and was purchased for $38M. The anchor tenant for the property is Zehrs grocery. Other notable tenants include Dollarama, Anytime Fitness, and Scotiabank.

The property is Skyline Retail REIT’s first purchase in the city of Guelph, where the Skyline Apartment REIT and Skyline Commercial REIT have been well established with multiple holdings.

Introduced in 2013, the Skyline Retail REIT is fully managed and operated by the Skyline Group of Companies, a Guelph, ON-based real estate acquisition, management, and investment firm.
